2. My favorite song right now is Smile, by Uncle Kracker.
3. So glad that TV is back! We watch nothing live anymore...always a day late...always recorded on Tivo. I think I have mentioned before that Brian and I each have our own Tivos...so we don't disagree about what to watch :o) And they are both connected to each other, so we can watch either his or mine upstairs or downstairs. Here is what is on my Season Pass right now:
1. Grey's Anatomy
2. Private Practice
3. House (this used to be on his, but they changed days. Now on Monday he records Heros, me House)
4. Project Runway
5. The Daily Show (would be up higher, but I catch the reruns, so it doesn't matter where I stick it)
6. The Amazing Race
7. NCIS
8. The Hills (and I'm so excited that Kristin is back - and yes I know it's more of a drama than reality, but I still like it ;o)
4. I just picked up 3 books from the library:
Size 12 is not fat, by Meg Cabot
The Mercy Papers, by Robin Romm
Teacher Man, by Frank McCourt
Hopefully these will get me through my trip next week. I think I have 3 more reserved at the library just in case I need to switch out before I leave.
5. I have decided that beads on a necklace are one of my favorite projects for homeschooling Ellie. I can buy a big mixed bag for cheap, she can sort them (math), she can copy patterns that I make (math) she can count them (math), she can string them (fine moter skills) she can make a bracelet or necklace (art)...so much to do with one little package!

6. It was Meet Me At The Pole this morning at Alison's school. This is a time when all the elementary school meets at the flagpole, along with the parents and they pray. They start globally and pray for the world and missionaries & armed service men and women who are serving all over...then for the country and our leaders, then our state and it's leaders, then our city, then our school. After, the kids are invited up to the mic to say a prayer. It's all K-5th grade students. Some prayed for a relative to get better, some prayed for "the Army men".
Then there were those that made everyone giggle:
"please don't let my card get switched from green today..."
"please let my teenage brother not do anything stupid today..."
"please let me not get homework tonight..."
"thanks for having Meet Me At The Pole so class starts late..."
Alison decided last minute that she didn't want to go up in front of the whole school to speak...I can't blame her!
7. I love the cooler weather lately. I love that we can open up the house in the evenings and mornings. I love that when I get up to run its not 90+ degrees already!
8. Today Brian and I have been married 7 years. As much as I think my wedding was perfect...I think my marriage is better. I'm as excited now about our future, as I was on that little beach in Hawaii 7 years ago. I'm excited to raise these 3 little girls with him, excited for our future trips alone, excited to sit on the couch with him after a long day, have him fix us a drink and lay on him while we watch TV or I read a book. He's still the one...

Happy Anniversary Mandi!
