Brian woke up at 5:24 (24 min late - his alarm didn't go off) and got ready to head off for his ride.

The girls and I left a couple hours later.  We got a parking spot right in front and took the scooters over to the "finish line"  (although they said it was just a ride, not a race, so I couldn't call it a finish line - whatever)  We went to get some free breakfast at the Claim Jumer tables, then played for a little bit.

Soon the Carters and Melton's got there and the kids had fun playing together.

The girls were fitted with new (free) bike helmets!

All of a sudden we hear some clapping, so we look over and Darric and Brian are rolling in!  They only had 2 people come in before them (B says they would have won, but he took a wrong turn)

Darric looks like he is gonna cry and Brian looks like he is gonna die  :oP

They said that they wished they would have signed up for the 60 mile ride...They didn't feel like they worked that hard in the 30 mile one!

I took off right away to head to Hesperia for Katie's bridal shower!  (Thank you Jamie for watching the kids while Brian changed!)

It was so fun to be there for her and meet all the rest of her family.  We had lunch and she opened gifts - I won a prize of bath and body stuff, for having a mark on the bottom of my cake  :o)

Three hours to get there - three hours at the party- three hours to get home

then I met the rest of the family @ the Dayton's for Darric's birthday party!

For some strange reason Brooke was super attached to Darric. (must have been becaus it was his birthday) She didn't want anyone else to hold her.

The kids had a fun filled day - that totally wore them out!

It was a full day, but a ton of fun!
