I am done with my photo a day...I have taken photos, but I was thinking about how I will print out my blog at the end of the year...and most of those posts I don't really care about. I might do something similar to Chris and document a day in detail each month. That way I get the everyday things in here, but not just filling space.
So far today we:

went to church
went on a 12 mile bike ride
did some sewing
mopped the floors - up & down
made banana choc chip muffins
made choc chip cookies
made Easy Bake cookies
fixed the dishwasher
trimmed the trees in the backyard
played Barbie
took a nap
watched the Lakers
finished teacher appreciation gifts
fixed the mouse on the computer
rode bikes
rollarbladed
watched a movie
organized recipes
updated ipods
did laundry
made a list of pregnant friends and all that needs to be made/bought for them (there are 5!)
did dishes
started dinner
read a little
played monkey in the middle
played on the bar in the backyard
and there is still so much time left in the day!
I love weekends with my family!
that's why I weas going to do the week in a life thing once a year...which I have done so far...and I was going to make one little book for each week in the life but throughout the year life changes a lot too so that one week doesn't necessarily show the changes throughout the year...then again thats what the end of the year photobook is for.

ReplyDeletei know how you feel about the photo-a-day. it is difficult at times to figure out what to take pictures of and what to document because as with family life, some of it gets repetitive.
and so i try to pick out stuff that is different about certain days as well as document the ordinary things that symbolize life in my household and i keep it separate from my regular blog.
i love the 12 on 12 project. it is not the whole day in detail - just really 12 details of it and since it is the 12th of every month - it kind of is random as to what happens on that day
will be sharing my 365 project soon. i am blogging every single day in may so i "have to" post about it now to keep things interesting - lol.
