I try to give her the plug rather than have her suck her fist, but some days it just doesn't work. I SO don't want her to be a thumb sucker, so I force the plug. It's way easier to take away the plug at 6 months...can't take away her hand :o)
Yeah I thought I could just take the plug away from Talmadge too, but I decided somethings just aren't worth fighting over with #3 I know eventually I can take it from him, good luck
Maddie has been obsessed w/ her fist ever since she found it. I got her a diff binkie to try to encourage her to be a binkie baby she likes it so far. I never could get her to use those hospital like ones the green ones...it just pops out of her mouth, she can't keep it in.
I agree w/ Jamie they are soo cute sucking on their fingers. Then again MAddie gags herself all the time which is funny until she spits up her meal.

ReplyDeleteI went to the Dr. today and he said they actually encourage the binkies to prevent sids. Who knew! I am a big fan of the binkies!!!

she's such a cutie.. i've always loved that outfit. i just didn't have any one little enough to buy it for.
ReplyDeleteI hear you. Landon still sucks his thumb and it's a tough habit to break. Neither of my kids would take binkies though...good luck!
