Things That Are Making Me Smile...And Not

~Ellie snapping - she taught herself
~gift words (and letters for Ellie) - from this book. I write a word on an index card, slip it into a fancy envelope that I made and surprise them with it. Al has mastered two words this week!- fun and star (and she knows her name) It is straight memorizing (not using phonics) but whatever works. Her Dad has her spelling the words too :o)
~Half price Sonic after the water park.
~Gas discounts for shopping at Smiths - 15cents off/gallon
~Red Box - we watched Return of the Spartans so lame, glad it was only a dollar. Watched The Eye -it was pretty good, and only a dollar.
~My video camera - my SLR is on the fritz but the video camera takes great pictures.
~My Mom is coming Thursday and is going to help me sew curtains!
~Faxed the paperwork for Brooklynn's birth certificate on Tuesday, got it and the cards on Thursday - not used to a govt. agency being so efficient :o)
~Decided on a new car...now we're just waiting for the broker to find one.
~Brian's attitude considering the circumstances.
~The new gym. The equipment is so nice and I have had NO problems getting all three kids in any time Ive gone. And I love that it is close to my house...I'm much more likely to go now!

ARE NOT:
~Costco doesn't sell Mac N Cheese (only easy mac - gross) Don't you think this would be a top seller?
~People telling me "You've got your hands full!" or "You must be busy" UGH! If you only knew how many times a week I hear this. If I couldn't handle my kids, I wouldn't keep having them people!
~I have a dk blue basket for darks and a white basket for lights in the closet...you'd think it would be self explanatory.
~Brian is in a lot of pain and still on one crutch. Nothing worse than to see someone you love in pain and not be able to help.
~We want a pre-owned, fully loaded '08 Toyota Sequoia... not to many out there yet, so we wait. So sad to come home from Cali without a new car :o(

~Migraines - they disappeared when I was pregnant, now they are back.
