TWO MONTHS

Brooklynn-
Two months have flown by. Your not a lumpy newborn anymore. You can smile and "talk" and react to things that make you happy - or not.
You have finely grown out of your newborn clothes, although the dresses still fit. We can now move into three month clothes and get something besides green and yellow :o) We are guessing your about 10 pounds, but we'll find out next week at your doctors appointment. We are up to size1 diapers and just like with your older sisters I prefer Pampers.
Your sleeping in your own crib and go to bed fairly easily. You are going through a growth spurt or something because you are back to eating every three hours (and it doesn't matter that we've upped your bottles from 4 to 6 ounces.)

You have that old man hairdo, just along the bottom of the back of your head and Dad wants to shave it off, but it makes it easier for me to find you on the monitor at the gym.
Speaking of the gym, we started going last week. The first two days they paged me to come get you, but now on the 6th day, we are up to an hour with no pages!
When people ask your name sometimes I say Brooke and sometimes Brooklynn. Alison always answers "Brooklynn Hope" and Ellie with "Baby Brooklynn".

You go to town on the pacifier, but only the green soothies. I have about 5 all over the house and an unopened pack for emergencies. On July 8th, you had real tears for the first time, I tried to get a picture, but it didn't turn out very well.

At the water park each week, you just chill in your little tent, although if I need help, there is always someone willing to hold you.


You are a very easygoing baby and bring so much joy to our lives. I am treasuring every little milestone because I know it's the last time I'll see them.
