At Three Months

At three months:

You laugh, especially if you hear someone else laugh
You cry, you've gotten in some huge wails, whereas before you would just whimper


You have much better control of your head and can use the Bumbo chair


You gnaw on your hand like it might not be there tomorrow (usually its your left)


You are starting to grab things (like the fabric of your dress, or my hair or necklace) but you wont hold onto a toy yet. Your sisters try to give you one each morning


You love the colors of the TV and will watch it while Daddy gets ready for work in the morning You go to bed between 8 and 8:30, wake up about 3:30 to eat and sleep till about 6:30
You are still eating four ounces every three - four hours during the day and six at night

You still sleep with your arms straight up in the air


You went to a babysitter for the first time (it's the first time I've left you besides with Daddy and Grandma) Jamie watched you while I went to the doctor. She said you were very good:o)

You get fussy in the evening which makes your Dad think it's him, but I know that it's just the time of day.

You cry when he holds you if you know that I am close by. (I told him he needs to change more diapers to bond with you :o)

You are getting chunkier and chunkier each day, which makes me so happy. There is nothing cuter than a big fat baby. As you fill out, your looking more and more like Alison. Ellie was always so skinny

So far your eyes are looking more blue instead of grey. I'm keepin my fingers crossed

Ellie says your her "best friend" and Alison is always trying to mother you. The other day I found them both in your crib and they were changing your diaper. They get out the baby toys each morning to see if you'll "play" with anything. And you are always getting smothered with kisses and hugs. We love you Brooklynn Hope.
