4 months old now

You have found your hands and can now grab things...like toys, or hair, or necklaces...

This is a very new toy, but has quickly become your favorite. You can gab the blanket part and jam it in your mouth. The long ears are also fun to chew on :o)
You love the Bumbo chair, but your legs are so chunky that you sometimes get caught in it...

You can go from this:to this in about 2 seconds. All we gotta do is pay attention to you and you are happy again...
You are a slobbering machine. your clothes are soaked in slobber all the time. Everyone asks if your cutting teeth, but there are none I can feel...
You had your first taste of sweet potatoes and unlike your sisters, you took to them the first time I offered them to you. You ate the whole thing. I was worried that your tummy might not be ready for so much baby food, but you slept fine after...

Your drinking 6oz all the time now except your 4am feeding. Ive have been cutting that one down to 4oz to try to wean you off of it...

Your little nails grow SO fast. I swear I cut them every week. Your toes on the other hand...not so much. Weird how they have only needed cut once...
Your sisters are still crazy about you. They fight over who gets to sit by you and who gets to give you kisses first...

Some people tell me you look like Alison, others say Ellie. Your definitely chunky like Alison was, but I do see Ellie in you. I think Aunt Sue hit the nail on the head when she said you smile like Alison, but you have Ellie's eyes. I think that's exactly why I see both of them in you. It depends on your expression. The one in the picture above is all your Dad though :o)

ETA: You rolled over for the first time tonight. You NEVER will do tummy time, you always just put your head down and smile at me, or eat the blanket. I guess this is another way for you to get out of it :o)

  1. Brooklynn, how can you be so loved by so many? You are so lucky to have been born into your family! I can't believe you are four months old and yet it seems like you have always been here....
