The girls went to their first Kings game and Brooklynn had her first experience ever at a hockey game. We all had our jerseys on, except Brooklynn, they didn't have one small enough so she just had a tiny hockey sweatshirt. (The same sweatshirt I used to tell Brian we were pregnant with Alison).
The usher gave me earplugs for Brooklynn, but they kept falling out. She didn't need them. Even though it was crazy loud, she fell asleep for a power nap.
It was an exciting game, and even though their faces don't show it in these pictures, the girls had a great time. There were 4 fights in the first period and a couple people were thrown out of the game. 
We left with 6 minutes left to beat the traffic out of MGM Grand and the score was 3-2 Kings. We got home and checked the score...4-3 Colorado in a shoot out...typical.

ReplyDeletethat's so cute! I keep going back and forth on whether or not we should bring MAddie to a football game we are going to sunday after thanksgiving. We want to bring her but it is a night game right when she usually goes to sleep.
