VOCABULARY

Alison saw these street lights hanging on wires instead of poles:

That had been moved at this intersection of 215 and Far Hills:
to build the overpass and said :

Alison: Mom, they had to restructure the lights because of the construction.

Me: Mmmmm, yeah, I guess they did. Where did you learn your vocabulary?

Al: What's vocabulary?

on a totally unrelated note:

Ellie sees this sculpture outside of the Sahara library and asks:

El: Mom what IS that?
Me: I don't know, what do you think it looks like?
El: A letter.

I guess at two, letters and this probably do look quite a bit alike.

  2. haha too funny. that's cute she came up with such a sophisticated statement. That's a good photo to keep about the letter because it will remind us what kids really see when they are trying to learn to read.

  3. You better watch out, that vocabulary will get right past you. You'll have to keep a dictionary with you!!

I wonder if that is how confusing letters are??
