Went to Alison's game. A little pouting again this week because she wasn't scoring any goals. She finely scored with about a minute left and ended on a happy note.
Supposed to go to Central, but things didn't work out how we planned and I ended up not driving all the way over there. If ya'll are reading this...we need to plan something again soon! We did end up going to Famous Dave's BBQ for dinner. I had ribs and Brian had hot links. Pretty good, and its close to the house, so that's a bonus.
Sunday
Church at The Crossing. Home for lunch and relaxing. Watched some golf and football before dinner. Had our "dinner party" in the backyard. Went to bed with a migrane..not fun.
Monday
I was SO happy that we had NOTHING to do. My weeks have been packed full and I was looking forward to getting things done around the house. Brian kissed me goodbye before work and I felt a little dizzy.. A half hour later when I got up with the kids, I felt like I was drunk. I couldn't walk straight. I had to hold on to the wall to get to Brooklynn's room. A few hours pass (somehow I made them all breakfast) and its not going away, so I called B and he came to take me to the doctor (There was no way I could drive myself) Turns out I have vertigo. They gave me a prescription for pills and for balance therapy. I got the pills and they seem to help, but I'm not sure if Ill do the therapy, I can't imagine its covered by insurance. Needless to say, I didn't get anything done that day. (except maybe not falling down or throwing up which is an accomplishment)
Tuesday
My L_O_N_G day. I was up and showered bright and early to take Brooklynn to see Handsome Hodapp for her 4 month shots. I was a half hour late due to a huge accident on the 215, but was still in and out in thirty minutes. I know! Your all shocked hu? N E V E R has this happened to me at this office.
We made it to the Mom's group at church just a tad late. Not sure if this group is going to work out. Man, there is a lot of complaining. I mean, yes motherhood is hard sometimes and it is hard to connect with other people when your a SAHM, but its not THAT bad. Maybe a lot of the women had a bad weekend or something.
Then it was off to lunch and preschool. While the girls were at school I had 2.5 hours to kill, so I went to Target and browsed clearance. Found some beach chairs for 75% off that will be great for Ellie and I at soccer. Then Brooke and I went to the park, she slept and I did my "homework" for Bible Study. So we left the house at 7:15 and got home at 3:30.
Wednesday
Went to gymnastics. It was Ellie's first time in her own class without me. She did great until about 15 minutes to go. She shut down on the trampoline. Which is weird because that's usually her favorite. I don't think Ellie has the attention span to do an hour of anything, even if its something fun like gymnastics.
Then we threw their suits on, stopped at Del Taco for lunch, and headed across town for swimming lessons. Ill be glad when this is over. They are learning, but I'm not sure if its worth the hassle when they aren't swimming elsewhere that much.
Made "The Super Fancy Dinner" for our anniversary. The girls helped me set he table with cloth linens, china and crystal and flowers they picked out from our rose garden. They thought it was very special that we were including them. They even went to dress up for the occasion.
Brian got home from work with some lovely flowers (my battery died before I could get a picture). We had a nice dinner (with nothing spilled or broken). Brian fed Brooklynn while I did dishes and then he was off to work again. At least I got to see him for an hour and a half...better than nothing.
Today
clean, clean, clean. My in-laws are coming tomorrow, so I gotta get caught up. The girls have school. Ill probably go to the park again. I'm out of money this week, so no shopping to kill the time :o)And 2 hours of Grey's tonight!!!!
Tomorrow
Brian and I have a date. We are going to T&T inside the Luxor for dinner and then to see the Bodies the Exhibition. I have been wanting to see it for 2 years now. Then who knows what...we have a babysitter all night, so we can go crazy...yeah right.
Saturday
Soccer pictures, birthday party, Kings game. We are so excited to take the girls to their first Kings game. Gotta go buy them all jerseys now - oh yeah, out of money...maybe that'll towards next week :o)
Wow, I get vertigo just looking at your schedule!! You must have great reminders to know where you are going and at what time!
ReplyDeleteCheck out the therapy, I don't know why Insurance wouldn't cover it. Maybe you need to slow down a little. (I sound like your grandma, don't I?)
I love you and am glad your anniversary etc. turned out OK. The girls looked adorable and so "proud of themselves".
I love you, see you real soon!
Mom

ReplyDeletethe girls look beautiful in their fancy gowns.

thats crazy... i hope it is better by now especially if you are clceaning (I think i wouldnt want to move) does the medication stop the dizziness?
ReplyDeletehow fun for the girls to go to their first kings game...i dunno if you're like me but if you are you should save their ticket stubs and put it next to a photo of them at their first game!
Sorry to hear about the vertigo. i hope you are feeling better. What a busy schedule you have.
ReplyDelete~~Wasn't the 2 hours of Greys great~~
that really sucks about the vertigo thing.. and wow you are one busy girl. I hope you guys had fun on your date. I saw the Body World exhibit at the California Science Center.. I wonder if it's similar to the Bodies one out there. It was interesting. And is sucks that we need money.
