Time Well Spent

Totally not a Vegas thing to do, but we hung out in our front yard last evening. I think the goal, on our street at least, is to not let your neighbors see you at all. I'm talking pull the car into the garage and shut the door before you get out so you don't even have to say hi. Well the Ausman's were never good about following rules anyway. (maybe it's not Ellie's fault after all)

I put a blanket down on the grass for BHA. She smiled at the clouds and talked talked to the trees.


and ate her hand a bit. She was happy.



Alison rode her bike. She has FINELY gotten the hang of it. Now we tackle the training wheels issue. She wanted to "ride around the block by myself"...ummmm no. (and how do you know about "riding around the block"?)
Ellie borrowed Alison's scooter and followed Al and B around. (He was rollerblading)

and then she fell
butt it was all good when Dad rode her around on his shoulders.


That's the firetruck that showed up when Ellie fell. Just kidding. Its Brian's new work truck, but doesn't it look like it could be part of the fire department?
