Alison's Birthday Party!

My oldest baby turns FIVE on the 10th, so we had a party this weekend to celebrate. Cookie Grandma & Grandpa came, the Carters, the Wallaces, and Uncle Chad, Nichole and AJ! Plus she got gifts from people who weren't able to make it Grandma & Grandpa Lashmett, Aunt Sue, Uncle Jeff and Grandma Karen. There was a ton of unwrappin going on. We had real tea cups to drink from (and for the girls to take home), cookies that said "eat me" and mini tea sandwiches for lunch. Alison dressed up and looked so cute as Alice!

She wanted pink cupcakes again this year, so that's what she got! It didn't go very well with the Alison Wonderland theme, but she wants what she wants.

She made a lot of funny faces as she was opening presents...I don't know if she was embarrassed that all eyes were on her or what. It seemed like she was purposely trying not to get too excited about anything. Let me tell you though, she loved everything! Almost all of the gifts have already come out of the packages against my better judgement (I like to save some for later in the year).

Usually I don't do any kind of activity, but I was feeling kind of like a slacker Mom, so this year I ordered "Mad Hatter Top Hats" and had the kids decorate them with markers and stickers...
