For breakfast she wanted pancakes, eggs and bacon. Mom forgot about the bacon and didn't get to the store to buy any the night before, so we went without. She was OK with it when I told her that I forgot because I stayed up wrapping Christmas presents :o)
Next we headed over to the library for story time. I asked her what she wanted to do, and she wanted to get books. So books we got. On the way home after the library I asked her what was for lunch...I was waiting for McDonalds, or ChuckieCheese...instead she said Eggos. My crazy kid can have anything she wants and picks Eggos?!
After lunch we put on a movie (that Alison picked out, of coarse) while Brooklynn took a nap and Mom relaxed on the couch. Mom was not feeling well at all, and needed some down time. Grandma called during this time, Alison answered my cell phone "Hello, this is Alison, who is this?" They talked for at least five minutes and I called her back a little later.
After the movie we broke out the Pixos. I have been putting it off since she got it at her party on Sat. So many little pieces. She loves it and is almost out of the little balls already...guess Ill be at the store for a last minute gift for her :o)
She is doing some more Pixos as I type, a dragon I think. Soon it will be time for jammies, story, tooth brushing, prayers and bed. Happy 5th birthday Princess!
My Alison is the most caring thoughtful girl I could ask for. She is always thinking about others and has the most amazing memory. She likes to dress herself and do her own hair, but will still double check if Mom thinks she looks cute ;o) She loves any activity I enroll her in and would be happy if she could do all of them all of the time. She is doing so well in preschool and is always asking if she is doing a good job and if we (and Miss Heather, her teacher) are proud of her. Of coarse we are! She is getting more and more brave about trying new foods, especially because "she is five now, and a big girl". She likes to do the right thing just because its the right thing. She hates it when people break the rules and takes it personally if she knows they do it on purpose. She is my mini me and I am so lucky to call her my daughter. I love you Alicat!
i was wondering where the ice-cream was saturday? haha
