*There was a snow day for school here yesterday...kind of crazy, it wasn't THAT bad.
*Alison was "ice skating" on the snow in the backyard. So Ellie decided to slide on her belly...cold and wet she was begging for a warm bath.
*Tuesday I brought chocolate covered pretzels to a cookie exchange...got lots of yummy treats in return.
*Note to self: Get Alison some new puzzles. She was putting them together on the wrong, blank side this morning because "Mom, they are too easy if I look at the picture!".
*Got posts in my brain, but haven't had time to get them to the computer...snow, preschool performance, etc.
*leaving for SoCal tomorrow morning.
Sat: Christmas with B's extended family
Sun: Family friend coming for dinner from San Diego
Mon: Lunch with Mom, Sue and Lana. Dinner at 5Crowns
Tues: Dinner and drinks with high school friends!
Wed: Headed to another family friend's for Xmas eve party
Thurs: Christmas - start at my parents for Santa stuff, go to his parents, back to my parents, then over to Sue's
Fri: going to a LA Kings game
Sat: probably coming home
Gotta love a fun filled vacation...I'm equally excited about everything!
*trying to get the house cleaned up. I hate coming home from vacation to a dirty house. Also getting presents wrapped last minute.
*Poor Ellie is so confused.
She asks me "Mom, who is Grandma Christmas?"
Me: There isn't a Grandma Christmas.
Her: yes there is!
Me: There is a Mrs Clause, but Ive never heard of any Grandma Christmas
Her: Everyone keep saying Merry Christmas and Grandma is Mary.
I'd never thought of that!
*Headed to the gym for a yoga class, some ab work, then gotta finish Christmas shopping. Hitting up Penny's and Target today.

ReplyDeleteyou are always crazy busy! I know what you mean I always try to clean the house spotless before we leave for a trip because when we get back we have loads of laundry and it's instantly messy.
ReplyDeletei wish i kept up with training i'm going ot be screwed when we do the 1/2 marathon. especially cause everytime i run i get aches and pains haha probably from not using my body lol.

I wish I could be as diligent with my workouts too. My back has decided not to cooperate. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
