Overheard

Ellie Version (aren't they always though)

certainly...as in:
Mom: Ellie will you please go grab me a diaper?
Ellie: Certainly
or
Mom: Ellie did you brush your teeth yet?
Ellie: I certainly did!


While walking to the park with Brian:
Alison: I'm winning!
Ellie: IT'S NOT A RACE! Dad what is wrong with that girl?!

While having dinner with Steve the day before his birthday:
Ellie: I don't usually say happy birthday, but for you Steve, I will. Your the craziest person in my life.
Steve: Thanks Ellie, your my bff.
