Just Us

For 4 whole days we are all alone together (well, except for the evenings when Dad gets off work) My parents went to a wedding in Utah this weekend and stopped to have a late lunch with us yesterday, on their way home to California. While we were out, Alison convinced them to take her home with them....and whatever Alison does, Ellie must do. So Grandpa went to get gas and the girls headed home to pack super quick! I'm sure we forgot a lot, but Grandma can take care of whatever Mom missed.
So that leaves me and Miss BrooklynnHope home all alone. Today has been nice, we went to the gym, played a little chase (love those giggles) had lunch, went for a short walk, stopped in Target, and dropped some books off at the library. We even started dinner early, so all I have to do is throw it in the oven :o)
On Sunday Brian will be headed to San Diego for some training classes, and Brooke & I will be headed to the OC for a week. I have some wonderful plans scheduled already to meet up with old friends, go to the beach, do some shopping at Ikea and The Container Store, run where it is NOT over 100 degrees!
Brooklynn has been looking all over for her sisters. When she woke up this morning she was calling El-Yee. Those 2 youngest ones got some kind of connection and Brooke is sad without her partner here. Alison is my little helper...I must remember to thank her again for all that she does. When she's gone it really stands out. So the countdown is on until I see my girls again - 3.5 more days! (poor Brian doesn't get to see them for almost 2 weeks :o(
