9 months old today!

Dear Brooklynn (aka: BabyB, LynnyLoo, Peanut etc...),

Welcome to our 9th month of life! As I say every month...time has just flown by! You are such a little person now, knowing what you want and what you don't want...and how to respond if you don't get what you want...with loud shreaks. Your sisters are teaching you well. I must get stopped once a day by strangers saying how cute you are...I think its those big eyes and super chubby cheeks that draws them in...Oh and the fact that, as long as Im holding you, you give everyone who pays you any attention a huge gummy grin. You till don't have any teeth, which is fine by me...less sleepless nights for both of us! Here are some tid-bits to remember about your 8th month:

You LOVE chocolate and french fries...Aunt Sue will be so proud

1/18 you called your Dad Dada! But lately you call him Da - De. The other day we were walking down the stairs and you reached for his picture and said DaDe.



1/23 I took your sisters to the dentist. They were a little scared but relaxed when they saw you clapping. Whenever we said Yeaaaahhhh...you would clap your hands :o)


you get up on your hands and knees and can sometimes scoot a little on your bum, but haven't figured out the whole crawling thing yet...soon though I think. You scoot all over and always seem to get stck under or up against a chair.



You scrunch up your face and smile when we say "make a funny face!"
You are no longer interested in the bottle. Good - because it will be easy to wean you. Bad - because you wont take a sippy cup yet and your little body still needs formula



Your sisters LOVE to give you zerberts on your belly because it makes you crack up.



You eat everything we eat at dinner (except the spicy stuff) its just in tiny pieces. We still give you baby food after "dinner" to fill you up though.



Your Dad and I think you must be competing with EllieB for "master of the blank stare". You each have it down perfect and a lot of times its very hard to snap you out of it and get you to laugh.


The sad part about you going from 8 to 9 months is you lost your blue eyes :o( I was SO hopin that just one of my girls would have my blue eyes, but Dad's non-color eyes won out all three times!
