Thursday's Thoughts

*I had dinner with Jamie and Millisa last night...a much needed break from the grind of raisin a family and fixing dinner.

*Ellie asked me at the beginning of the week..."how long till Grandma comes?" I told her 15 sleeps, she says "That's insane!"

*Brian was trying to teach Alison about 911. So he shows her the numbers and then asks her to give him an example of an emergency...
A: If a meteor hits our house.
B: Sure, what else?
A: If someone is being eaten by an alligator?
B: Yep

*When I pick Ellie up from school on Thursday's I pass a park that has a farmer's market. I love the idea of a farmers market, but where are all these farms in Vegas?

*Why do men's razors always work better than women's? When I run out of refills I am totally switching.

*Brooklynn still can't (or won't) hold her own bottle but she has figured out how to close the drain of the bathtub when she is in the shower with me. I thought it was an accident at first, but then I watched her do it again and again after I opened it. She likes to splash in the water.

*Brian is going to the gym 2x a day now. For an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening after he puts his girls to bed. I'm glad he goes through all that hassle so we can have time together in the evening. Otherwise he would have to wake up at 4:45 to get his whole workout in, or stay longer in the evening and get home when I go to bed.

*While driving to meet the girls for dinner last night, I passed a Terrible' station with a sign that read "Buy one oil change get one half off". Hu?

*I have a list of books I want to read, but my library card is expired, so I cant put anything on hold. Ugh.

*I am dreading next week...I probably shouldn't post why in case there are freaks who visit my blog...but it will suck.
