* On Tuesday I actually did my hair - when I came downstairs Ellie says "Mom! You look so beautiful with your hair like that!". She was my favorite that day ;o)
* So far for my next half marathon I have 2 girls that are for sure running with me, two that are for sure not (but had planned to) and 2 that are still on the fence. My mother and father in law signed up too!
* On the way home from Target tonight Alison says "I'm going to make a rocketship, then take it to the gas station, then fly to heaven to check it out. If it's cool, I'll take the rest of the family, but it has to be a weekend so Dad can go too."
* Bought swimsuits for all three girls today. Two at Old Navy and one at Target. You might think it's crazy but by the time we need them, all the cute ones will be gone. Ellie is so hard because her bootie is so small. The smaller sizes though are made to be worn with diapers, so they dont fit either. We found one that *almost* fits.
* My boy comes home tomorrow after being gone all week. I know Im a wimp, and that others' husbands are gone WAY more than mine, but I miss him. And the girls miss him.
When is the next marathon?? I haven't seen a date yet.... When I do cardio I almost die, think I am ready??

Funny I went to old navy yesterday and got some summer clothes for the kids but didn't do the swim suits. I'm wishing I would've, but spent too much. I hate when all 4 need all new clothes!!

I'm so sad the OC is planned on the same day as my Bats Day. Erik and I started training but hadn't signed up when we realized the conflict. We're going to do the 5k instead. Considering I could barely walk for 3 days after the last one, there's no way I could walk around Disneyland after completing it. I'm at least training this time ;). I'd love to do the Disneyland Half except it costs too much and it's during a hot time of year.

ReplyDeleteI'm more of a wimp than you in terms of being away from Jim, I don't even like being away from him for 1 day a week would be hard.
The longest we've been apart in probably 7 years is a week (if that).
am I a for sure or an on the fence for the 1/2 marathon? haha it seems so much closer than I realized. I wish there was mroe tiem to train. I don't think my time will be improved by much. I'm going to try to work hard though.
