Not Going As Planned

Alison was finishing her homework on Thursday morning, for her class Thursday afternoon. On the last page, she was supposed to cut out the pitures on the bottom and finish the patterns. We could not find scissors ANYWHERE in this house, although there must be at least 4 pairs hiding around here somewhere. I told her to just explain it to Ms. Heather. She says "I have an idea!"
than she brought me her homework:
she drew the pictures instead of cutting and gluing them! I think they look darn good.

Also on Thursday, the day before Brian came home, our kitchen sink was leaking. Not just little drips either. I didn't know at the time, but the garbage disposal was cracked. B bought some special glue (it must happen a lot if they have glue specifically for that purpose) and it was fixed...12 hours later we could do dishes.

This morning we come downstairs and my kitchen is flooded AGAIN. It looked like it was coming from the fridge. My Mom and I pulled the fridge out...no broken water hoses. I mop up the water, and it turns out it's coming from the dishwasher not the fridge. Since we already had the fridge out, my Mom cleaned behind there (which was nasty) and I kept cleaning up the water. We stuck a bowl under the leaky corner, so the dishes could finish the cycle...Hopefully appliances don't break down in threes!
(I have no idea what is wrong with the dishwasher...Im leaving it alone till Brian can look at it)
