Sunday
we went to church
had lunch
stopped at Target where Brian bought me a new crock pot - not for my birthday
took him to the airport - again
Monday
I went to the doctor - Chad watched Al & El, and I took Brooklynn with me. Got drugs to help with my issues, a referral for a mammogram, and info about getting my tubes tied
Chad took the girls to gymnastics and I met him there to pick them up
Ate lunch at home and stopped by Target to get my prescription filled, buy Brooke a green shirt, and buy the girls a bar to practice on
Tuesday
Went to bible study where we had speakers discuss different options for schools...home school, private and public schools...very interesting.
went to Arby's for lunch
Dropped the girls off at school, while Brooklynn and I went to Costco
Rescued Nichole (her car broke down on the way home from work)
Ate dinner and raced over to Alison's soccer meeting - I'm the Team Mom (Thanks Chris for the help on what to do!)
Really starting to miss Brian at the end of this long day
Wednesday
ran at the gym (the only day I went this week)
Dropped Alison off at gymnastics. Ellie,Brooke and I went to Starbucks to hang out for a bit, then back to watch & pick up Al.
Did laundry and had it all washed, dried, folded, hung, and put away...at least for a few hours till it was bedtime.
Ate dinner and headed over to Jamie's for a Pampered Chef party. The girls were SO excited. Max and Ellie fought, Kenzie took the baby for the night and Alison clung to Madi - just like old times. I booked a party- so anyone reading this needs to come or order on line!
Thursday
School was canceled today, so we went to the park with some fiends for a few hours.
Came home to clean...got the whole upstairs done, started working on the downstairs and my vacuum died. So I used the Dust Buster to finish up.
Friday
Made my mammogram appt
Texed Jamie to see if she could watch the kids that day - she can ;o)
Picked Brian up from the airport - Yay! We missed him.
Grandma and Grandpa Ausman arrived from California, and Brian went to work
Went to lunch at In & Out
Grandpa watched Brooklynn and Ellie while Grandma Alison and I went to spend birthday money I got from my Mom! We went to Joann, Babies R Us (she got a birthday gift for Brooklynn) and Boarders. She had bought the girls their first bibles, so she wanted o get a cover for them)
Opened my present from his parents and went out to eat...we even got dessert :O)
Saturday
Alison had her first soccer game...they lost...by a lot...but she sure was cute.
Mary Brooklynn and I went to a different fabric store...I bought way too much fabric and she bought a little bit.
Brian was digging a hole and planting a tree in the backyard when we got home.
That night Brian and I went out to celebrate my birthday since we had a babysitter!
Sunday
Grandma and Grandpa went home :o(
We went to church
Brian went to Lowes to get supplies to tile our master bath
He came home demolished the old floor and did all the prep work.
I sewed while he was doing the hard labor (and ran out of thread)
We headed back to Lowes after dinner, so we could pick out the tile and hardwood together.
Monday
Swim lessons bright and early today. They both did good.
Stopped by Starbucks to kill some time, then headed to gymnastics
Went to Del Taco for lunch, and met Brian at one of the schools we are considering for Alison (and maybe Ellie) for a tour and interview.
Came home and picked up the house while Brooklynn took a short nap - she has been fighting naps already - seriously she's only 10 months old, I NEED her to nap!
Got the mail and opened about 5 birthday cards!!!! Thanks, Mom, Aunt Sue, Aunt Ginny, Grandma, and Lana!
and the rest is, as they say, history!
PS: I found a very cute site for craf projects and downloads here
thanks for sharing that website. i might have to try and make those bagels on there. they look yummy. :)
