Catching Up On Some Randomness

Ellie has been putting herself down for a nap lately. She just crawls up on the couch and grabs a blanket. Its nice to not have to fight her, but...she usually falls asleep around 4:00 which is a little late for a nap, and I get so worried now that she will pee on my couch ;o)

Ellie LOVES looking at pictures. This is a collection of pictures of Brian's family when he was younger. She could sit there and stare at it for a half hour. (There will probably be quite a few pictures of Ellie in underpants...its much quicker for her to make it to the toilet if she doesn't have pants on.)

Our new toy...I am beyond excited to have a video camera again. For our baby shower, Brian's Mom and Aunt went in together and got us a Sony HD video camera. I can't tell you how much we love it. I was a little worried about having a hard drive instead of tapes or disks (you can't just switch it out if you run out of space) but it holds over 700 minutes of video! (and it takes a memory stick) It has a dock that stays hooked up to the computer, so as soon as I load the software, I can post videos to the blog :o) And last but not least...we have names! We decided together on a girl's name, but he is so sure that this baby is not a boy that he said I can pick whatever I want for a boy name. I am still deciding between two names, so if it's a boy, we'll have to see what he looks like.

The girl name will be Brooklynn Faith (me) or Brooke Lynne (him)

The Boy name will be Kaden James (James is all over his side of the family - we would call him Kade)

(I don't mind opinions about them, but please don't slam any of them, because I really like them all and you'll feel bad when you tell me how bad the name sucks and we end up using it anyway ;0)
