My daily fix

I really don't hate blogging, I just don't have that much going on. I have a couple *good* days in the week, the rest are running errands and hanging out at home....BORING.
Today was was a good day. I went to Town Square with Jamie and Jodie. It is THE perfect place for me to go shopping with my Mom and without my kids...maybe in the Fall when it cools off again, I can wear normal clothes and can get someone to watch my monsters all day ;o) We played at the playground there for a while and then decided to feed our crew, so we headed over to California Pizza Kitchen...I am ALWAYS up for pizza lately. We got there at about 12:30 and at 1:40 Brian texted me asking me where I was. We were still at the restaurant and still hadn't got our food! Apparently there is only ONE table in the whole place that can seat 9. (even though all they did was push 2 tables together in the end anyway). I do have to say though, the white pizza was worth the wait...so yummy.

Anyway - when I logged on, that totally wasn't going to be my post, just an explanation of why I haven't been updating ;o) My post was going to be about my blog fix that I must get daily. DO you have blogs that you hit every day? or almost every day?
First I start with the blogroll on my page:

Amber - is my sister in law. They live in Oregon and I just LOVE getting updates on whats going on in their lives.
Carrie - is my cousin on my Moms side. They are in Utah, and it keeps me in the loop about whats going on on that side of the family.
Christina - is my cousin on Brian's side. She just had a baby a month ago and started her blog just before sweet Maddie was born. We have gotten a lot closer since we have been pregnant together! She is even throwing me a shower next weekend, even though it's my third kid ;o)
Jamie - How do I explain Jamie? She is not only just my friend, but a great family friend. At lunch today Ellie stopped eating and said "Excuse me Jamie, I love you." She is always there in a pinch and treats my girls like they were her own. (and don't worry Jamie, we never getting tired of hearing about Max ;o)
From Jamie's blog I usually hit up Carla and Chris' blogs, but I don't know them well in real life, so I felt kinda weird adding them to my blogroll. Carla's blog makes me laugh and I love to see Chris' new photos.
Jen - as in Jennifer, is Jamie's sister and one of the first blogger's I knew of. We used to go scrap together every once in a while. She is an AMAZING photographer and will hopefully have time to do my little hiccup's first shoot a few weeks after he/she is born. (and some of the girls)
Jodie - also, Jamie's sister. We hung out every Thursday last summer at the pool. I see her when she and Jamie invite me to tag along on their day trip outings.
Loretta- Loretta *must* be related to me, I just don't know how to explain how! Anyway, we became fast friends at Christina's bachlorette party and haven't looked back since. She does need to update more frequently though - hint hint
Missy - technically I met through Jodie, at one of her "parties" I think. Then we started reading each other's blogs...and now I know her through that I guess :o)
From Missy's blog I visit Amanda's. She is one of Missy and Jodie's friends. I think I also met her at Jodie's house.
Ricki - Another of Brian's cousins. Christina talked her into getting a blog a little while ago, and from reading her blog has quite the busy schedule. I don't know where she finds the time to post!
Sarah - my good friend from forever. We went to elementary, jr high and high school together. She and I don't talk that often, but when we do, its like time never passed. I just found her blog and look forward hearing more about her kids craziness. Her cutie sons make me want to have a boy ;o)

Other than those, I also visit a few other daily. People I don't know, which after writing that, sounds kind of weird.
Pioneer Woman - this girl can write, AND her pictures are amazing. Almost makes me want to live on a ranch. I also read Pioneer Woman Cooks...which is now on the same page (it used to be a different blog)
Cathy Z - she is in the scrapbook world and her posts just make me laugh. fun reads.
Cool Mom Picks - stuff I wish I could afford, so I enter their contests (knowing full well Ill never win)
Baby Cheapskate - I find some great deals on this page,
Dad Gone Mad - not PC, but that's why I like it. It's cool to get a Dad's perspective on parenting.
Money Saving Mom - where I learned about getting free stuff from CVS by playing the CVS game, and when and where to get good deals anywhere else.

Wow, that looks like a lot! But it doesn't take much time to speed through them. I love that through blogging I can keep up daily on the lives of my friends. It's nice to get comments from them, knowing that *someone* is taking the time to read all the garbage I post ;o)

  8. I really want to blog ;). Right now I'm getting to read yours, Christina's and Loretta's about every other day. I really enjoy hearing how family is doing especially since I don't get a chance to talk or see as many of you guys as I'd like. Can't wait to see you on Saturday!
