At six months
*you can sit up, but if you turn your head, you lose your balance
* you have found your toes and it is SO cute to see you play with them

*there is an insane amount of slobber on your shirt at any given moment
*you LOVE to be with your Dad. When he walks into the room, your whole face lights up, which wasn't the case a few months ago
*we would have been taking away your pacifier this month, but you never really took to it after the first couple months
*you are eating stage 2 food. I started making it for you, but we mostly get organic baby food in the jars...its just easier when there are so many other mouths to feed.
*Your favorite is sweet potatoes just like your sisters when they were little. Another favorite is corn and also carrots. You hate the green veggies and most fruits. Although you tolerate bananas.

*even though you are eating baby food, you haven't slowed down with the formula...still almost a can a week. We have switched to Kirkland brand (which is half the price) and you don't seem to notice the difference.
*during the day you have already learned to fight sleep. You fuss and fuss, and sometime I have to put you to bed and let you just whine for a bit.
*Both of your sisters still cant get enough of you. They fight over who gets to hold you, or change you (as long as your not poopy) or feed you
*your not a fan of the swing at all anymore. We keep it around to let you sleep in once in a while, but it wont be long before its out of here
*you are such an easy baby stil l(hope i don't jinx myself) you go with the flow and, unless you are sick, you have a smile on your face.
*you no longer are happy to sit outside the shower while the girls and I get clean, so I bring the Bumbo into the shower with us and let you play on the floor of the tub while we shower. Its a little crowded, but you love to be in the middle of things and the girls love to play with you.
*you can roll over both ways, but usually once your on your tummy you cry till I come get you.
*If anything is in your hand...its in your mouth. including my hair and necklaces when I'm holding you.
*you are growing up so fast and I am so excited to have Christmas with all my girls! We love you Brooky Boo!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe Brooklynn is already six months old. Of course, this has been a very "different" six months for us... We are sick of hospitals and healing processes!!
