1. I washed a t-shirt, that Ellie had got paint on, with my whites. The green paint stained the armpits of Brian's undershirts. That's it. Nothing else had any marks on it. Bleach did not get it out...weird.
2. When my Mom was here, she went to the store for me and bought a bunch of packets of Swedish Meatballs. On accident there was a meatloaf packet mixed in. I didn't have anything planned for dinner tonight, ground beef was thawed, so I thought Id make some meatloaf with corn and cornbread. The directions asked for meat (check), breadcrumbs (no, but I had bread, so I could make some), egg (check), and 4 cups of chopped veggies (hu?) seriously? four cups? put the packet back in the pantry for another night.
3. Why are Old Navy's baby clothes so ugly lately? But Gap's are super cute and super expensive? My friend is giving me a friends & family coupon for next week...thanks for the hookup girl!
4. Brian wont tell me what he wants for his birthday...its on Monday and I have nothing.
5. Ellie wants a doll house from Santa, Al wants a Barbie house...is a Barbie house a doll house? Could I get by with having Santa only bring one to share?
6. Ellie still refuses to poop on the potty. I took her diapers away and she want crazy. I am conflicted as to whether I should force her, or let her be. She called Grandma the other day to "make sure she still loves me even if I don't poop". I assured her everyone still loves her, but let her call Grandma anyway.
7. Brooklynn is this close to sitting up without tipping over...I can't wait to get rid of that infant seat.
8. Shane announced some big plans for our church in the next three years. It gave me goosebumps. I think Ill need to find a way to make it to India to help with their mission to start 5 new churches. I don't know why it spoke to me so loud, but it was much louder than the other plans he unveiled...now I just need to find the courage to get more involved.
9. My girl Katie's offer on the house was accepted....YEAH - I get to plan her housewarming party soon.
10. Making burp rags for some friends...it feels good to 'make things'. rather than spend more money. Not just for my budget, but people seem to really appreciate that you put some thought and time into what you've given them.
Sounds like a lot of thoughts for a Thursday :)
ReplyDeleteI think typically that the the dolls that go in a "doll house" are smaller than barbies. Barbie would have to crawl into every room......
santa can just get that really tall wooden barbie house so everyone can fit in there together.
ReplyDeleteor maybe grandpa bob could make a cool one. hint hint. :)
congrats to katie!! does this mean she'll be leaving this target?? :(
Yes, yes I will be leaving that Target :( Time for change! It's a beautiful house!
