History will be made. If you voted for McCain and he wins, he will be the oldest president in a first term and Palin will be the first female Vice President.
History will be made. If you voted for Obama an he wins, as he will be the first African American President.
History was made when Brian voted in his first election (Ok, maybe not history, but it's still cool)
No matter what - today was a good day. Record number of voters means people care. I love if you agree with my views, I love it if you don't - it means you are not indifferent that you care enough to argue with me.
Tomorrow, no matter who wins tonight, I wont have to hear one more political commercial, or get any more phone calls, or visits to my door, and we will all go back to just being Americans.
History was made when I wore, for the first time since quitting my job almost 2 years ago, khaki pants in public...don't worry, I paired it with a black shirt :o)
haha I can not wait for the phone to stop ringing off the hook. I swear I get 5 phone calls or more a day on my house phone and cell phone having to do with politics.
ReplyDeleteyes, i do agree today was history making. i am somewhat unsure of what the future will hold (i did not vote for obama) but all i can do is pray for him that he can make some changes that will benefit all of the american people and move us forward.
ReplyDeletei too am thankful that the election is over - my message machine has been full every day and i have thrown enough advertisements to probably make a forest of trees.
Your post was very well done. Totally "Politically Correct".
ReplyDeleteLast night was a historical moment.
ReplyDeleteI also agree about the fliers and phone calls and the ridiculous commercials!
last night history was made and it brought a happy tear to my eye.
ReplyDeletelol about the khaki pants. :)
Yay to it being over and the no more political commericals for now! It's exiting to see the what changes will happen now.
