7:15 Get out of bed (Brian had got the kids up and diapers changed before work, so I slobbed in bed for an extra half hour this morning)
7:30 check emails and blogs
8:00 Get breakfast for the girls, watch some of Friday's Oprah while I feed Brooklynn
8:30 Pour them another bowl of cereal, dry this time, and feed myself.
9:00 Call the gym for a reservation and get us all dressed
9:30 go to the gym to work out
10:30 head home and empty the dishwasher
I am LOVING these plates I got for the girls. I threw out all the mis-matched plates and got sme colorful ones. They look so cool lined up in the dishwasher. (Brian thinks Im crazy for taking a picture of the dishwasher :o)

11:40 start making dinner (for us and a friend)
12:20 deliver dinner for a friend who just had a baby...all she's gotta do is throw it in the oven.
12:30 make lunch for the girls
12:50 put Brooklynn down for a nap
12:55 make Oreo Truffles for a sweets/recipe exchange tomorrow
2:00 do dishes from making dinner and dessert
2:25 type and print out recipe for Oreo Truffles
2:30 direct the girls as to what to pick up in the playroom while I start a load of laundry
2:35 Brooklynn wakes up and we all sit on the floor to play a little. The big girls do puzzles, Booklynn practices sitting up with my help.
3:00 The girls play a computer game while I sew a burp cloth in the office. Brooklynn is fussing the whole time, so I only get one done...three to go.
3:45 pick up the downstairs (i intended to clean , but didn't get to it)
4:20 Brooklynn falls asleep again after a bottle
4:23 The girls and I do a trial run making cute cans for Christmas cookies (using old formula cans) It went OK, but I have some modifications in mind for the next one
4:30 Put dinner in the oven and clean up our sewing/craft mess
4:45 Make sugar cookie dough to freeze for cookies for Alison's birthday
5:15 Brian comes home as I'm doing dishes from the cookies. Al and Ellie are on the counter licking the beaters
5:20 I blog - Ellie has a meltdown, so I stop blogging, and come back to it a few minutes later
still on the to do list:
make lunch for all of us for tomorrow
finish the other three burb rags
eat dinner and clean up & feed Brooklynn (hopefully I can delegate this to the boy)
put my kids to bed
take a shower (probably with Brooklynn)
give Brooklynn a bottle and put her to bed
watch Heros with my boy (last weeks so we can fast forward through the commercials)
read some of my book The Book Thief and doze off, unless I get interrupted by Brian ;o)

The truffles look very yummy!
ReplyDeleteIs this the same Mandi that would not set foot in the kitchen, had no interest in sewing (a very sad time for Mom), and was a little too self absorbed to be very interested in helping other people? I love the change!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess you were listening even if you weren't participating at the time. I am so proud of you and who you have become.
I love you so much,
Mom
