Jan 24, 2010

-Got out of bed & all 3 kids were in the playroom...how did Brooke get out of her crib? I don't think I want to know!

-Fed Brooke but the other 2 want to wait for Dad...as they do every weekend.

-I do a load of laundry...then forget about it for the rest of the day. now I need to restart the dryer because I do.not.iron.

-Ellie, Brooke and I go to church...another amazing service (and almost run out of gas - even though Brian reminded me to get some). Brian and Alison go back to Mt. Charleston to play in the snow.

-We all get home and have lunch and the 2 older girls play outside. Brooke goes down for a nap.

-I catch up on this blog since I found the cables to my cameras and Brian watches football.

-After a while I realize its mid afternoon and I better do my errands or I'll be stuck doing them during the week, which means with kids.

-I go to the Library to pick up my book club book. I can never not browse the new release books...I leave with 4 books:

Water For Elephants - Sara Gruen (my book club book)

Pink Brain-Blue Brain - Lise Ellot, PhD (about how little boys' and little girls' brains are different and how we can help them advance their strengths and develop their weaknesses as they grow up)

Unswettined - Jodie Sweetin (memoir by Stephanie from Full House)

Unthinkable - Scott Rigsby (lost both his legs and was the first person to finish the Hawaii Ironman with 2 fake legs)

-Then I went to Target - got more than I went for - as usual

- Then went food shopping. As I was pulling in, the rest of the family was playing with bikes and scooters in the front yard.

- I put the food away and marinated the meat for dinner

- I sit down for a bit with a cup of coffee (im loving the Vanilla Caramel creamer) and watch some football with Brian

-We eat dinner - sweet and sour chicken with veggies, rice and noodles

-Brian finishes watching the football game, I play on the computer and the girls clean their room and start their nightly routines...
