BUSY WEEK

SUNDAY

*Brooklynn had her first "bath"at home.

Not loving it...

Glad my tummy has gone down since then...not enough, but its better than this ;o)

nice and clean, but still not happy

*Ellie helped me dust a little and mop the floor.

*Had my first outing with all three by myself to go to church. I started the morning process with my shower two hours before we needed to leave, and still barely made it on time! Ive gotten a little streamlined since then, but still don't have it down :o)

*After church we headed to the grocery store. I had this great plan of getting the cart with the car attached. The big girls could sit in the car, and Id still have the top of the basket to put the baby in....No car carts when we got there. So Ellie and Al walked. I rushed through the store and they were all pretty good. Celebrated my minor accomplishments with a couple of rentals from RedBox...although I fell asleep halfway through!

MONDAY
*Brian was getting over his cold, so the girls and I went to Aunt Donna's house to have dinner and hang out.

The girls played dress up with Donna's old clothes
They both loved the red pumps!

Grandma Karen was in town just for the day and got to meet Baby Brooklynn

As did Grandma Flash
Speedbump the turtle came out of hibernation and the girls were so excited Alison fed him rose petals and then...he got his toes painted bright pink...poor guy

TUESDAY
*The older girls started swim lessons at the Las Vegas Swim Academy.
They are both doing really well and Ellie has finely stopped crying now that the week is over...only three more weeks to go (4 times a week!)

WEDNESDAY
*we went over to Jennifer's house , so she could get some pictures of the newest Ausman. She even braved trying to get some pictures of all three girls.
*Jamie and Max met us there to help wrangle the older girls and see Brooklynn.
I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any pictures, but trust me Jen is awesome with newborns. And Jamie was great with Brooklynn.
*Went and picked my Mom up from the airport. Short trip this time, but totally worth it.
THURSDAY
*Brooklynn had to get her second PKU prick. Of course she screamed (and Alison was very worried) but she stopped crying right away. When I had Ellie, they used to do this in the pediatrician's office, this time I had to go to Quest which worked out better because it's much closer to the house.
*Next we went to the park with Grandma. Its going to be way too hot to go very soon, so I'm glad they had a chance to run around and swing and slide. Ellie had to be rescued a few times because she starts to climb on equipment that she is too little for and gets stuck.
*We celebrated AJ's birthday at our house. Again I didn't have my camera out, but stole this picture off of my Mom's card...the Transformer cake had a lot of black frosting...nuf said ;o)
FRIDAY
*went to Belz (not called that anymore) and bought a few things for the girls at the Carter store. Mom picked up a bunch of stuff from Liz Claiborn (sp?) and the girls enjoyed the Merry-go-round!
*Took Mom back to the airport for her flight home. She hasn't been home in almost 3 weeks! But I wish she could have stayed longer!

  1. *now's probably a good time to start having your groceries delivered. (i don't think they'll deliver the redbox though) ;)

*alison looks like she's doing a really good job with the swimming classes.

*glad i got to come hold miss brooklynn. it's crazy how you always forget just how little they are at first.

*i like the bright colored frosting - it keeps me from eating the cake.
