8 months old

Brooklynn,
You turn 8 months old today!
When I ask for a kiss you move your head in to give me one, which I find SO cute. I could kiss you all day!

You have tried holding your own bottle, but give up very easily and want us to do it. I can't even prop it anymore because you move your head around so much.

I put a wipe (a clean one) over your face the other day and you pulled it off and smiled when we said "peek a boo".

most of your clothes are 9-12 months now, but the 9 month ones will only last another couple of weeks. You hate socks (just like Ellie). Little old ladies always tell me I need to get socks on you, but you pull them off 2 seconds after I struggle to get them on!

You have turned into a screamer. When yo don't get your food fast enough, you scream. When you want to be picked up and I walk by you, you scream. When you want out of your crib, you scream. Gotta find a way to break that habit.

But most important...on Jan 7th i sat you down on the bathroom floor while I did the girls' hair. You tipped over and said "Mamama" is a soft whiny voice. So so sweet. Then again the other night when I was making dinner, you were sitting with Daddy on the couch, whenever I came into view you would babble Mamama. Of coarse then Dad was trying to get you to say Dadada :o)
