Thursday's Thoughts

~ I am totally and completely stressed out this week. There has been no down time (except for my yoga class yesterday) and I NEED down time. Its something that Ive recently learned about myself. Definitely not my Mother's daughter in that respect.

~My most favoritest yoga instructor is not teaching at my gym this session. I'm so sad. I'm almost tempted to go to another gym just to take her class. (She teaches at other LVACs) but I really need to not be out and on the road anymore than I already am.

~ I was invited to join a Mom's group yesterday. While I think it would be a great way to connect with other women, I just don't have the energy to put into something else right now. I already feel like the friendships I have now are being neglected.

~ My training is going super good. I love the Nike+ I got for Christmas, it helps so much with my runs. I have just over 2 weeks till my race and I'm excited. I'm already thinking about when the next one will be. A girl from church wants me to do the LA marathon with her, but I don't know if I can train on a treadmill during the week for a full marathon. Those runs are SOOOO long!

~Alison made 2 "friendship necklaces" at church on Tuesday. They were made of noodles and string, and the idea is to keep one and give one to a friend. Alison took hers to school and gave it to Tristan while they waited for Ms Heather to come to the door. She was a little embarrassed because his Mom and I were a few yards away waiting also, but he seemed to like his gift :o) We will be going to his birthday party next weekend and she says she has to find "the perfect gift". (which she later told me was something Ben 10)

~My photo a day project is going well. I've got pictures every day and I've had them posted on time almost every day. They aren't great pictures or anything, and the composition could be better, but I'm happy to get one up each day. I think it will be interesting to look back at.

~ Ellie went #2 on the potty by accident. She was so excited. But still wont do it again. Now I'm beginning to think it's a total power thing.

~Gotta blog about her first week of her new school...Brooklynn turning 8 months tomorrow...Our trips we are planning...
