Just cuz I don't want to forget

*She looks so much older with her hair up in one pony (as opposed to down, or two pigtails)

*She wakes up as soon as the sun is up, comes in our room and whispers as loud as she can "Daddy. Daddy. Can you turn on cartoons".

*She has said in the last few days:
As she is walking from my room to her room with all her clothes in her hand and drops her underwear..."Holy Crap!" Neither Brian nor I say this, so I have no idea where she got it. She says Caspert told her.

Sitting on the couch with Dad..."Dad, I can't snuff my nose because there are WAY too many boogers in the way".

And this morning..."Mom, Ill love you for 10 years and ALL day today" Thanks Bean :o)

*She hates the drive to preschool, but once she is there, she is so excited. Her best friend at school is Gracie, and they are going to exchange valentines. (I had forgot about that)

*She still is not potty trained. Actually, I take that back. She is trained. Trained to go #2 in a diaper. She never has accidents, but will put a diaper on herself, go, then find me to change her.

*She likes to snuggle, and NEEDS Mommy/Ellie time. Sometimes during the day I have to stop what I am doing and just hold her. I hope that she always needs that.

*She can go from happy to mad in a blink of an eye, but she can also switch back just as fast.

  2. aren't blogs awesome for not forgetting these types of memories? for some reason I find it easier to sign on and post a blog than to write in a journal.

those are such cute memories. i love all the things she has said.

  3. Holy Crap, where did she get that? Just kidding, I don't say that either. It will be so much fun to go back years from now and remember these things. I was always going to write them down but never did. You think you will always remember but you don't.

Great post about a great girl!

    Love you,

    Grandma/Mom
