Ellie started her new preschool this week and to say that I was nervous was an understatement. She picked out her new lunch box, since she has to take her lunch with her. And she picked out her outfit, which was the same one she wore the first day in the fall. And she did great. She froze up when we first got there. Her teachers introduced themselves and I took off. Lingering will only make it worse.
I went back to get her at 2:00 with her sisters n tow, and she came running out with a huge smile. She even wrote a "note" to her favorite teacher, Ms Angelica. She loved the sandbox and lunch the best.
On Wednesday, she was a little hesitant again, but ended up having a great day. She was a little sad when she found out there was no school on Monday for the holiday!
glad to hear she had a good time and was able to eat lunch at school. that would probably be one of my favorite parts too. :)
