The good
Brian got cleared for full weight on his leg and can loose the crutches. He can schedule surgery in as soon as three weeks for the other leg.
The bad
His leg is very weak and he can't just dump the crutches all at once, its a process. Even though his body will be ready for another surgery, our family isn't. We are going to wait until after the baby is born. (He's not that anxious to get back to crutches anytime soon anyway...his poor arms need a break ;o)
The ugly
I didn't feel like cooking dinner tonight (I think there will be a lot of that in the next 7 weeks) so we went to Samurai Sam's for dinner. Ellie threw up as soon as we walked in the door. I so do not need a house full of pukies right now...I hope it was an isolated incident. (I took Ellie home for a bath and Brian got dinner to go)
"The Good" is great news!!
ReplyDelete"The Bad" will remedy itself pretty quickly, I think. Desire to get rid of the crutches will help a lot....
"The Ugly" is awful. You never get used to that! Is she OK now?
Love you all,
Mom
congrats on the good new. sorry about the ugly. that's twice as ugly when you're pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI've had a lot of people tell me their kids have the throw-ups right now. Glad we don't, knock on
ReplyDeleteoops,... wood. Glad he can get rid of the crutches and that you won't have to go through it again till after the baby!
