Note to self:

*Brian is allergic (or at least VERY sensitive) to the tape they used in surgery...remember to mention this for the next surgery

*They don't make soccer shorts for midgets...Alison's will be WAY too big for practice on Sat, just be glad there is a drawstring

*Toddler story time starts next week...make sure you know the dates when promising your kids something

*Telling Ellie not to stand up in the stroller is the same as yelling "GO AHEAD - DO WHAT YOU WANT!"

*You are probably more worried about Alison's all day Gymnastics Camp next week than she is...relax

*Yes you really are turning 31 on Easter...don't worry your Mom will be here to ease you into it

*It's much easier to plan dinner ahead of time than to think of something to fix at 4:30pm...maybe you should make a menu for next week?

*Call Grandma Karen to arrange haircuts for the girls while she is here

*French bread Pizza is not one of the food groups...maybe (just maybe) you should go one day without eating it and eat something healthier

*Remember when you were telling your Aunt that you didn't realize how much your husband does around the house until he is out of commission? - Tell him, I'm sure he'd appreciate it

*Remember how good (and put together) you feel right now with your hair done and toes painted...don't go back to being a slob ;o)

* your oldest is only four, even though you have conversations like these:
You: clean up the toys, its time to get out of the shower
Al: I don't want to get out yet
You: How long do you think we are going to be in here? We've got stuff to do today
Al: How about 20 minutes?
You: I don't think so
Al: Well then how about 20 more 1 minutes?

  1. everything that makes up french bread pizza is in a food group, so it totally counts.

  3. hahaa love the 20 more 1 minutes that's so cute. I'm allergic to the adhesive tape they use in surgery too. and I always forget what it feels like to be well put together and put makeup on and do my hair hahaha. I've been a slob for the past 6 months now. I literally just started putting make up on the last 2 days in a row.

  4. Well, Mandi, you have met your match with Alison! I can't wait until she is 14 and see how YOU handle it!

I like the "Notes to Self". I think I will start doing that too.

    See you on Thursday....

    Love you, Mom
