I seriously need to work on potty training. Two mornings in a row now (very early morning - like around 5am, which I am still counting as 4am because I'm not used to the time change)
Ellie has come into my room, climbed up on the bed with a diaper and wipe in hand, lays down (with her old diaper already off and in the diaper pail) and says "Mommy, I'm wet." Ugh!!!! If she can go through all that, she can sit on a stinkin potty!
Not my ideal way to be woken up in the morning. Can you tell I'm not a morning person?
just be glad they're only wet.
ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of being a parent.
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
Dad
I was thinking the same thing as Jamie. You should tell her to just put some panties on until you wake up. Potty training is a pain in the neck, I'm not looking forward to it.
ReplyDeletehey, come on look at the bright side. she brings you the wipe. it's not poo... haha... i'm not a very happy person when i get woke up before i'm ready either....
ReplyDeleteThey are right, it could be much worse!! Maybe you will have to get tough about it?
ReplyDeleteLove you, Mom
That is such an adorable picture of Ellie, how can you be mad????
I hear you. She sounds ready. I've begun with Landon....he's in underwear now all day. Good luck! I feel your pain. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought about just sending her away - or telling her to put on panties, but its Ellie. So you KNOW she would totally pee on my couch ;o)
