Random pictures to post

A couple weekends ago, we went up to Mt Charleston to have lunch and play in the snow. B and Al loved it. Me and Ellie - not so much.

Alison's favorite toy at the moment. She takes "baby turtle" EVERYWHERE. I think we originally got it for Ellie in Hawaii, but Alison has adopted it. We cleaned out the toybox and gave a bunch of stuff away, in the process they found toys they had forgot about.

My latest do. I was feelin a lot pregnant and little frumpy, so I took advantage of the kids being gone and went to get the hair did.
Brian and I were driving down Fort Apache and saw some trees with pretty pink flowers on them. So I mention it to him and he says "have you been in the backyard lately?" I'm retarded, we have two of the exact tree in our backyard. Note to self: Spend more time in the backyard :o)
Painted letters for the girl's room. Its their names for over the closet. How they are going to get up there, I don't know. Maybe Ill add it to the list for my FIL while he is here this weekend.
Ellie's first and last day of dance. She was SO excited when we got there, but when class started she clung to me and wouldn't let go. I got a credit for the cost and will put her in an art class next session. Then Ill be able to sit right by her.

Not too much to blog about with the girls gone. We've just been resting, and while he plays video games, I read. We saw a couple movies: 10,000BC - it was OK, we thought there would be more special effects. And Fools Gold - it's what you would expect from this kind of movie, but how can you go wrong with a movie where Matthew McConaughey has his shirt off for 75% of the time?

  1. I hadn't heard that Ellie "flunked out" too.... She is a little young, I guess. I love your hair cut, it looks really cute!!

Pretty soon you will have a new baby and all else won't matter any more.

What is the "pink tree". I have seen them here too but don't know what they are.

We enjoyed the girls tonight, I'm sure you are anxious to see them. It's nice to have a break but so nice when they come home.

    I love you guys,

i hate it when the kids find "forgotten" toys and can't get rid of them.
