NYC - Day 3
We woke up a little late and grabbed breakfast to-go from the hotel, and ate it on the subway.  We had to take a new subway, which is always an adventure, but we made it to our destination...The American Museum of Natural History.  There is not a word to describe how huge this place is.  Seriously, we were there for 5 hours and didn't come close to seeing everything!

After a while we started walking around to find the stuff from Night at the Museum to show the kids.  Almost every room we went in I would say "Oh, I wish the girls were here!".  They would have LOVED all the animals!

They had a butterfly exhibit that was a room with hundreds of real butterflies flying around us...It was so cool to be standing there looking at all of them, and one would just land on my arm, or head.  (again I kept saying that I wished the girls could see it - I think Brian got ired of hearing it ;o)  The IMAX show was kinda boring...it was about the Great Lakes and some giant fish they are trying to preserve.  I'm sure it's important work (and I did like the break of being off my feet ;o) but we weren't that interested.  The last "show" we saw there was in the planaterium (sp?) It was all about how stars and planets are formed, it was pretty cool.

After walking around for 5 hours, we went back to the hotel for a nap.
Dinner was at Frankie and Johnie's.  It was a steakhouse, and I had the.best.ribeye. MMMmmmm
Not only was it the most expensive meal on this trip, but the most expensive meal we have ever had together!  And we didn't even drink that night!  Worth every penny though - it was that good.
