I got sad sad sad news today, so I am pretty sappy.

Not sure I can share it, and I probably don't want to...everytime I think about it I cry.

So instead of a post, Im doing Friend Makin Monday and answering their meme:

because Spring makes me happy, and I need a little of that.

1. Favorite things about Spring:

its a tie: that it's not cold, and that my kids can play outside in the AMAZING backyard B has created for them!

2. What I'm doing for Spring Break:

Going to California!  On our agenda: dinner with my girls (JenG, Meglet, and Sarah my yogi beara!!), the beach, Knotts Berry Farm, Pirate Dinner Adventure, shopping at Ikea and The Container Store...and maybe a few fabric shops, picking out my new sewing machine (and getting lessons on it!) visiting with family, having tons of fun!

3. Favorite Spring flower:

any that I can keep alive!

4. Do you have a garden?

yes we do this year!  and Brian built a fence around it to keep the dog from eating all of our fruits and veggies  :o)

5. If so, what do you grow.

carrots, strawberries, yellow squash, cucumbers, red and green bell peppers, jalepeno peppers, snap peas, and some other pepper we have never heard of ;o)

6. Do you do Spring cleaning?

not usually, but I think I will this year...I already have a list going.  It might take longer than 'spring' to get it done though!

7. What is your weather *really* like right now? {Just b/c it's "officially" spring, doesn't mean that it feels like it for some of you}

a beautiful 77 degrees.  We did school outside today and it was SOOO nice out!

9. What's your favorite thing to do on a sunny afternoon?

sit in the backyard and read while my kids play

10. Favorite TV show right now?

always Grey's  BUT I'm loving The Amazing Race too
