Alison has been complaing for about 3 weeks that her tummy hurt - she has been to the office a few times, and once they called me to pick her up.
On Monday she said "Miss Pardon was hoping you would have taken me to the Dr. by now."
So I guess Im the bad parent that lets her kid hurt. I made the appt - not knowing what I would even tell him. It happens at diffent time, after eating differnt things, at different times of the day, at different places...no rhyme or reason to it.
Thankfully Dr Misch said that he see it all the time and wasn't surprised. He assured me that if it's 'in her head' (although he phrased it nicer than that) that after the process of diagnosis, it usually goes away.
She had blood drawn (always fun with the other kids there) and an x-ray. Guess what?! It all came back normal - like I thought it would. Guess what else?! She has been fine ever since.
dinner: cubesteak with gravy, noodle with cream sauce, raw veggies and salads (for me and B only)

that's funny, so doesn't it make you curious what was causing her stomach to hurt? it's crazy that we can mentally make ourselves feel pain if that's really the case. WEIRD! our brains are so crazy.
