No school today (teacher in-service day) so I had to take Alison to MOPS with me. I didn't realize they have a room for school age kids - ones that are homeschooled, or on track break, so I brought her with me. She had her coloring, Leapster, and her American Girl doll. And when all of that got boring, she sat with Lo. The talk was about waiting. Waiting on God. Things don't happen at our pace, they happen on His pace. Waiting on God is active, not passive. They had a little game and I won a planner, we also got some pink sanitizer and pink notepad for Valentines day :o)
Brooke must be teething again because she is unbelievably clingy and whiny. I was glad to hand her over to Dad when it was time for me to go to bookclub!
We read Water for Elephants this month - Amazing book. I seriously can not believe there is not a movie made already (although I hear it's in the works) If you get a chance, read it. Next month we are reading Pride and Prejudice. I know, I should be embarrassed that I haven't read it yet, but only 1 out of the 8 of us has read it!
dinner: beef stroganoff, cantaloupe, carrots
I admit I haven't read most of the books you have, but I absolutely love Pride and Prejudice. It is one of my favorites and I reread it fairly often. I hope you enjoy it ;)
