Feb 10, 2010

Woke up with a terrible headache, so I didn't go to body pump. It was bordering on a migraine ALL morning.
I did end up taking the door off of my laundry room (we never close it, and I needed the room)
Then Ellie, Brooke and I went to Target to buy Valentine cards, birthday cards, and laundry baskets. Not for dirty clothes, but for clean clothes. Previously, I would make piles for each kid on the dryer before they, or I, would put them away in their rooms. Problem #1 - they cant reach the top of the dryer. Problem #2, it would take many trips to get all the clothes put away.
Three kids + three different colored baskets = problem solved. When they see clothes in the basket, they need to take it to their room and put the folded clothes away (and I just pray that they actually stay folded)
so far so good! haha - now it remains to be seen if they keep it up!
(Brooke still gets a little help...but I did make her throw her socks into the drawer ;o)
Then I used the computer to do some couponing...printed some, then used this site to find the best deals. (click on grocery deals by state on the left) It only has Smith's for food in Nevada, but that's mostly where I shop anyway. I also use the one for Target and CVS. The site takes the weeks' ads and matches them up with coupons that have been in the paper (it also tells you where the coupons are - for example 01-10 s = smart source that came on Jan 10th)...so you can get the best possible deal on products (sale+coupons)
It also tells you the % off that you get. And the best part is, after you sign up...ITS FREE!
Then I made my online food order (for the stuff I'm not using coupons on at Smiths) and looked at some blogs,
After picking Alison up at school, we went to soccer for a few hours.
Then it was home to say goodbye to Dad (he went to the UNLV basketball game with Darric), eat dinner, shower, and go to bed!
dinner: quesadillas and fruit
